Gilmore Girls – I miss u

Its been so long since I last watched Lorelai and Rory. They were the funniest mother daughter pairing ever on tv. Its amazing how fast they can talk, how much coffee they can drink, and how much junk food they can eat.

And I love it that they ended the show with Lorelai and Luke getting back together. They were meant for each other.

I recently watched Eragon, but I have to say I was disappointed with the movie. The book rocks!

About the only good thing about the movie is the Soundtrack, with Avril Lavigne singing something without her normal angst theme. Keep Holding On. Below’s the video as well as the lyrics. Love the song so much. Keep the good music coming Avril.

Orange Cake

After a couple of tests on several recipes of Orange Cakes, I finally succeeded on this particular recipe.

The yummiest of all, its not too orangey, not too sour, just the right texture and not dry but moist.

Ingredients

3 Eggs

175g Margerine

175g Castor Sugar

Rind of orange from 2 oranges ( you can adjust based on your liking)

225g Self-Raising Flour

3tbsp milk

Method

Beat margerine with castor sugar till fluffy

Beat in orange rind

Beat in eggs, one at a time

Fold in flour, adding in milk bit by bit in between the flour.

Pour into 20cm round baking tin

Bake at 200 degrees for about an a hour.

Now, what should I try baking next. Maybe coffee cake. Sounds good to me.
